The DX Storage Cluster Services Node (CSN) streamlines installation and configuration of both the network services required to run a DX Storage cluster and the Dell software used to interface with it into a single integrated server. These release notes contain late-breaking information about DX Storage CSN 2.0. -
Page 4: Limitations Of This Release
• The CSN Console supports web-based, post-boot modification of network services configuration, user access for both the admin interface and SNMP, software image management, and configuration for DX Storage, the SCSP Proxy and Content Router. • A Backup and Restore section in the CSN Console provides management of automatic configuration file backups created by the CSN and saved into the DX Storage cluster. - Page 5 • Bonding Errors After Completing Initial Configuration Administrators may see bonding errors related to duplicate 'HWaddr' assignments after completing the initial configuration of a CSN for the first time. These errors may be safely ignored. • SSH Delays Logging into CSN Administrators may see delays logging into the CSN via SSH if there are any non-existent or unreachable DNS servers specified in the resolv.conf file.
