Maintenance

This CLI command lets you display the system maintenance repair progress,
and manage the data repair and state of a DR4000 system. Maintenance tasks
let you perform basic repairs and maintain the data and the DR4000 system.
The maintenance set of command and options should only be used when the
DR4000 system is in the Maintenance mode state. Dell recommends that you
contact Dell Support before performing any of these CLI commands.
The --filesystem commands perform maintenance operations on the DR4000
system filesystem, the --configuration commands perform a backup and
restore of the system configuration, the --hardware commands manage the
appliance hardware, and the --disk commands manage the system disk drives.
NOTE:
This set of Maintenance commands provide some functionality that is not
available in the DR4000 system GUI. To check the status of the DR4000 system, use
the system --show CLI command to display the current status.

Command Usage

NOTE:
Using some of the maintenance command options could result in the
deletion of data. Carefully observe the warnings (for example, run the scan without
running the repair). If you have questions, do not perform these CLI command
options without first contacting Dell Support.
