How to change battery
The Honeywell ADEMCO 6160RF does not have a replaceable battery itself, as it is a keypad/transceiver powered through wired connections to the control panel. However, if you need to replace the battery in a wireless device connected to the 6160RF, follow these steps:
1. Identify the wireless device with the "Low Bat" error message on the 6160RF display.
2. If the wireless device has a replaceable battery, open the device as per its instructions.
3. Replace the battery with a compatible one.
4. If the device does not have a replaceable battery, the entire transmitter must be replaced.
Always verify compatibility and follow safety precautions.
