To connect a subwoofer to the Denon AVR-1910:

1. Use a single RCA subwoofer cable.
2. Connect one end of the cable to the “Subwoofer Pre Out” jack on the AVR-1910.
3. Connect the other end to the LFE or Line In input on the active subwoofer.
4. In the AVR-1910 settings, make sure the subwoofer is set to “ON” and configure the crossover frequency (e.g., 80Hz).
5. Set the speaker size to “Small” for channels that should send bass to the subwoofer.
6. Choose LFE or LFE+Main mode depending on whether you want bass from main channels also sent to the subwoofer.

A 1-to-2 RCA Y-adapter is not necessary unless the subwoofer requires both L and R input.

    • The video conversion function supports the NTSC, PAL, SECAM, NTSC 4.43, PAL -N, PAL -M and PAL -60 formats. • The resolution of the video signal input to the AVR-1910’s HDMI terminal is the resolution set at “Resolution” (vpage 34). (1080p HDMI signals and 1080p component signals are output at 1080p, regardless of the setting.)

    Connecting the Speaker Cables Carefully check the left (L) and right (R) channels and + (red) and – (black) polarities on the speakers being connected to the AVR-1910, and be sure to interconnect the channels and polarities correctly. Peel off about 10 mm of sheathing from the tip of the speaker cable, then either twist the core wire tightly or terminate it.
