The Priority feature lets you designate one stored channel in
each bank as a Priority channel. When the Priority feature is
turned on, the scanner checks that bank's priority channel for
activity every 2 seconds as it scans the bank. This feature lets
you scan through the channels and still not miss important or
interesting calls on specific channels.
