You can use Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400) with a separately sold Uni-
versal XM satellite digital tuner system (GEX-FM903XM) or XM satellite digital tuner (GEX-
P900XM). For details concerning operation, refer to the XM tuner's operation manuals. This
section provides information on XM operations with Pioneer AV Head Unit which differs from
that described in the XM tuner's operation manual.

This cannot be used unless AV Head Unit is combined and the source unit is connected by
IP-BUS.

CH NAME

Shows what channel select mode has been selected. CH.Number is displayed when CH
NUMBER is selected, and CATEGORY is displayed when category is selected.

Shows to which channel number the tuner is tuned.
BAND

Shows the band which has been selected.
P.CH (Preset channel)

Shows what preset has been selected.

■How to listen to the XM

1 Press SOURCE button to select the XM.
2 Use VOL dial to adjust the sound level.
Rotate to increase or decrease the volume.
3 Press BAND/ESC button to select a band.
Press BAND/ESC button until the desired band is displayed, XM1, XM2 or XM3.
4 Select the desired channel with 2 or 3.
