The Skoda Fabia engine cuts out while driving or when stationary, with the rev counter dropping to zero temporarily. A ticking noise from the fuse box suggests an electrical issue. Since the problem occurred before and after a battery replacement, it is likely not battery-related. Possible causes include a faulty relay, ignition switch, wiring issue, or ECU malfunction.
