9. Install the cover.

AIR FILTER

1. Remove the cover 1.
2. Remove the clip 2 holding the air filter cover 3.
3. Remove the air filter cover and element 4.
4. Wash the element in solvent and dry.
5. Oil the element and squeeze out excess oil.
The element should be wet but not dripping.
Recommended oil:
Foam-air-filter oil
or
SAE #20 motor oil

Do not wring out the element.
This could cause it to tear.
6. Insert the element into the air filter.
NOTE:
Be sure the element sealing surface matches the air
filter so there is no air leak.
