Playing Audio Data (Continued from the previous page)

Fast Forward/Reverse

Tilt and hold the Jog switch up/down during playback.

Jumping the Beginning of the Next/Previous Audio Data

Tilt the Jog switch up/down and release it immediately during
playback or pause.
Tip
You can skip to the next folder by pressing the MENU button and then selecting SKIP

FOLDER in the Menu window. You can also skip the current folder by pressing the equalizer
button on the wired remote controller for two seconds or longer.

Fast reverse
Down
: Fast forward
When the end or beginning of a given audio data is reached, the gigabeat
will move to the next or previous audio data.
Releasing the switch will return the Playback mode.
If the play mode (
p. 31) is set to Repeat One Song, tilting and holding the
Jog switch will not move to the next/previous audio data.
No sound will be played during fast reverse/forward.
Up
:
The gigabeat will play the current audio data from the
beginning.
When the Jog switch is tilted up and released twice
continuously, the gigabeat will play the previous audio data
from the beginning.
Down
:The gigabeat will play the next audio data from the beginning.
While the gigabeat is paused, performing this operation will only select the
desired audio data. Press the Jog switch to start playback.
If the Jog switch is tilted up/down and held during pause, the gigabeat will
continue to locate the beginning of the current/next audio data.
