- Page 3 Safety & Warnings Shredding Capacity The DWS-815CC shredder can shred up to 8 sheets at once. When shredding small materials like envelopes or credit card receipts, insert them through the centre of the feed opening. Cautions • Keep all loose articles of clothing, ties, jewellery, hair, or other small items away from the feed opening to prevent injury.
- Page 4 Paper Jams and Overload Protection This shredder is equipped with a motor overload protection device. The normal duty cycle for continuous shredding at maximum capacity is 2 minutes on and 45 minutes off. The power will terminate automatically in the following abnormal situations. Prolonged Continuous Shredding Operating the shredder at maximum capacity for more than 2 minutes may activate the automatic motor overload protection.
