  • Page 8 Calibration Kit Overview Calibration Kit Overview The Agilent 85050D 7 mm calibration kit is used to calibrate Agilent network analyzers up to 18 GHz for measurements of components with 7 mm connectors. The standards in this calibration kit allow you to perform simple 1- or 2-port and TRM (thru–reflect–match) calibrations.

The part numbers provided in this manual are the recommended replacement parts for these kits.

  • Page 21 If a connector shows deep scratches or dents, particles clinging to the mating plane surfaces, or uneven wear, clean and inspect it again.   • Page 22 Use a lint-free swab or cleaning cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol to remove any dirt or stubborn contaminants on a connector that cannot be removed with compressed air or nitrogen. Refer to Table 6-1, “Replaceable Parts for the 85050D Calibration Kit,” on page 6-2 for a part number for cleaning swabs.

See Table 6-1 on page 6-2 for part number information. They are effective in detecting excessive center conductor protrusion or recession, and conductor damage on DUTs, test accessories, and the calibration kit devices.
