INSTALLING THE EXTERNAL CAMERA
A camera can be integrated in the 1736 system to monitor the external environment. The camera can be
picked from the Urmet CCTV catalogue with CVBS operating mode (12Vdc power, max. average
consumption 300 mA), for example a AHD DAY & NIGHT CAMERA 4MPX 3.6mm WITH IR LED, Ref.
3300/410 or 3300/510.
In kit 1736/511, supplied with the outdoor station, a 3-wire cable is supplied which must be inserted in
connector P2 on the rear of the outdoor station (see Connections chapter):
Outdoor station set-up
1.
Disconnect the power.
2.
Remove the jumper JP4.
3.
Insert the connector in the P2 area and connect the 3 wires according to the diagram below.
4.
Restore power.

Note: Make sure that the black cable is connected to the two negatives coming from the camera (video signal
and power supply).
