Tips for Flight Safety

Please fly your drone in a safe environment, and strictly abide by local laws and regulations. Before a takeoff, have a glance at the nearby restricted and GEO zones.
Click to learn more What Are GEO and Restricted Zones?
To determine whether you'll need to unlock an area before flying there, start by checking: Check GEO Zone.

Environmental Consideration

  1. For safety reasons, you should never fly above people, animals, or moving vehicles:Flight Safety Guidelines
  2. Minimize interference by avoiding areas with tall and dense buildings that may affect the signals between remote controller and aircraft. The performance of the aircraft is limited when flying at high altitudes. The maximum flight height of the aircraft is 500 m. For the maximum flight distance, please refer to the Specifications in the DJI's official website.
Beginner pilots should not be able to fly very far, and please always fly in open areas and keep your drone within line of sight. Mastering flight skills can result in better control, increased confidence, and an overall safer flight in any location.
Click Altitude and Distance Limit to know more.

Flight Safety
Pre-flight Checklist
