Possible cause
The disc is inserted upside down.
Insert the disc correctly.
There is a fl aw or foreign object on the disc.
Remove the foreign object, or use a fl awless disc.
There is condensation on the disc or the pickup lens.
Leave the disc and the pickup lens undisturbed for a while before using.
There is a fl aw or foreign object on the disc.
Remove the foreign object, or use a fl awless disc.
The unit is not properly secured.
Secure the unit to the console box.
The unit is tilted at over 30º in the front-to-end direction.
Make the angle 30º or less.
Something such as a peeled label obstructs the disc coming out.
Press and hold [Disc] for more than 10 seconds (disc forced ejection). In
case the disc forced ejection does not work, consult your dealer.
The microcontroller in the unit operates abnormally due to noise or other factors.
Unplug the power cord and plug it again. In case the unit is still out of order,
consult your dealer.
The disc has unplayable formatted data.
Refer to the description about MP3/WMA for playable sound data except
CD-DA (i.e. music CD).
MP3 fi les must have the ".mp3" (MP3) extension and WMA fi les must have the
".wma" (WMA) extension.
The playability of some CD-R/RW may depend on the combination of media,
recording software and recorder to be used even if these CD-R/RW are playable
on other devices such as a PC.
Make CD-R/RW in a different combination of media, recording software and
recorder after referring to the description about MP3/WMA.
Playing VBR (Variable Bit Rate) fi les may cause sound skipping.
Play Non-VBR fi les.

It is not possible to switch if the disc does not have multiple audio languages/
subtitle languages/angles recorded on it. (Refer to the guide provided with your
disc.)
Some discs permit switching through a menu screen.
Sometimes, switching angles is possible only with certain scenes.
