I have just tried to install the new box but the channels keep flicking through. Also the cursor doesn't stop rolling which makes it impossible to select anything

I connected a suitable hdd and can record live tv, when I try to record via epg it shows in the timer list and when I click on it it says playing, but it doesn't record? anything im missing?

The Labgear VSAT02 may not be recording scheduled programs from the EPG because it is connected to a Sky Q Wideband LNB, which is incompatible. It requires an older KU band LNB used with Legacy Sky Plus HD systems to receive all channels and transponders needed for full functionality.

@Mr. Anderson thanks for your answer, would it then still live record like mine does? I dont have a sky lnb but dont know what type mine is unfortunately, I used it with my techno mate receiver before
