Remove the gasket (4) and dowel pins (5).
•
Remove the oil filter screen (6) and wash it
•
in clean non flammable or high flash point
solvent (kerosene).

Reinstall the oil filter screen with the sharp
•
edged side facing inwards.
Reinstall the dowel pins, new gasket,
•
crankcase cover, kick starter pedal and
clutch cable.
Adjust the clutch cable free play, if required
•
(page 68).
Fill the crankcase with clean engine oil as
•
per specification.
Ensure to replace gasket with new one once
removed.

AIR CLEANER

The air cleaner is wet, paper pleated type filter
which has enhances filtering efficiency.
