ADAT Indicator
This lights up when an Alesis ADAT and an
RMDB2-compatible device are connected and
both devices are powered up.

TASCAM Indicator
This lights up when a TASCAM DA-98, DA-88, or
DA-38 and an RMDB2-compatible device are
connected and both devices are powered up.

Power Indicator
This lights to show that power is being supplied to
the DIF-AT.

TASCAM SYNC Connector
This sends and receives control commands
between the DIF-AT and a DA-98/88/38. Use the
special sync cable for the DA-98/88/38.

TASCAM TDIF-1 Connector
This performs input and output for digital audio
signals on eight channels between the DIF-AT and
a DA-98/88/38. Use the special dubbing cable for
the DA-98/88/38.

ADAT Digital In/Out Connector (Optical)
This performs input and output for digital audio
signals on eight channels between the DIF-AT and
an ADAT. Use the special optical cable for the
ADAT.

ADAT SYNC Connector
This sends and receives control commands and
synchronization signals between the DIF-AT and
an ADAT. Use the special sync cable for the
ADAT.

RMDB2 Connector
This sends and receives control commands and
synchronization signals and performs input and
output for digital audio signals on eight channels
between the DIF-AT and an RMDB2-compatible
device (Roland VM-3100Pro, VM-7100, VM-7200;
etc.). The DIF-AT also receives power through this
connector.

To connect the RMDB2 connectors, you must use the
cable attached to the DIF-AT,or cables which conform
to the RMDB2 standard. Other cables such as for SCS]
connection may damage the products.
