7.3 DETAILED DESCRIPTION - SERVICE FUNCTIONS
1. Enter the service mode (see section 7.1.1).
2. Select the function with the numeric keypad or the keys LEFT and RIGHT.
3. Press OK.
7.3.1 Adjustments
MODEM TEST - FUNCTION 61
This function permits to send a specified frequency or baudrate to the telephone line for measuring purposes
(9600,7200,4800,2400,300 Baud 1100,2100 Hz).
1. Enter the service function (see section 7.3).
The machine goes on the line.
2. By pressing one of the keys (* and #) the user can define which signal is output by the modem chip.
The LCD shows the specified frequency or baudrate.
DTMF TEST - FUNCTION 62
This function permits to send a specified DTMF signal to the telephone line for measuring purposes.
1. Enter the service function (see section 7.3).
2. By pressing one of the numeric keypad (0-9,* and #) the user can define which DTMF signal will be sent
out by the telephone microcontroler to the telephone line. The DTMF signal is also sent to the speaker. To
dispatch a continuous DTMF tone, the DTMF continuous mode bit in LIU PARAM. must be set (tone is sent
as long as key pressed).
Switch the machine OFF/ON, to activate the new function.
