5.2 Firmware Update (FlashUp)

Upgrade Procedure

a. Turn off the power to the printer unit.
b. Connect the serial cable between the
COM1 port on the PC and the COM1
port on the printer.
If no COM1 port is available, see below.
c. Start the FlashUp.exe application on the
computer.
d. Turn on the power on the printer unit.
e. After a few seconds the FlashUp
program will display the Flash
programming process.
f.
A message to inform about the
completed task appears after a
successful program update.
g. Click Close to exit the program.
h. Restart the printer/terminal.
It is now ready to use.
