Main Band/Sub Band Switch In standby mode, press the A/B key to switch between the main frequency band and the sub frequency bands. Channel (MR) mode and Channel selection The radio has two modes: Frequency (VFO) mode and Channel (MR) mode. Channel (MR) mode is more practical for everyday use, while Frequency (VFO) mode is useful for field experimentation and on the fly monitoring.
