Focusing Using Face Detection Live Mode

Select [Face Detection Live mode] from the list box.
When a face is detected, an AF point appears.
When there is a face other than the face detected by the camera,
a new AF point appears when you move the cursor to the
position of the other face. Clicking that position then selects the
AF point.
You can switch between showing and hiding the AF point by
clicking the [
] button.

Click the [ON] button.
AF is executed.
When focus is achieved, the camera makes a beeping sound
and the AF point turns green.
If focus is not achieved, the AF point turns red.
If the camera cannot detect a face, the AF point is fixed to the
center to focus.

Checking the Depth of Field and Exposure

You can check the depth of field and exposure in the Remote Live View
window.
Click the [ON] button.
The aperture value (exposure simulation) is set in the capture
window (p.56).
