1.9 Activating the EASControl

Using the mobile App to retrieve the activation code
To activate the EASControl, you will need access to the exact vehicle it will be used on. Your mobile
device will have to be connected on the internet. If not possible, you will have to fi ll up the form on our
website using another device connected to the internet.
1.
Turn the key to the ON position (II) or push Start.
2.
Connect the EASControl on the vehicle's OBD port.
3.
Wait a few seconds and connect the EASControl BT/

Press on «Activate» to display the activation page. If the tool has already been unlocked on
one vehicle and an additional VIN license is required, Navigate to Menu->EASControl Confi g-
>Unlock Code:

Note the 10 character activation code and follow the instructions found in point 1.8.3 to retrieve
the activation code.
6.
With the unlock code in hand, repeat steps 1 to 4 and enter the unlock code in the appropriate
fi eld.
