9. USING THE RACING WHEEL WITH A PC

D-INPUT MODE
• By default, the steering wheel automatical-
lyturns on the X-Input mode, analog mode –
thered indicator is constantly on. Press and
holdthe «MODE» button, the red indicator will
flash 3times, the steering wheel will switch to
D-INPUTmode. Switching between analog and
digital modeoccurs by short pressing of the
«MODE» button,the red indicator lights up in
analog mode andgoes out in digital mode. To
test the rudder, enterthe test interface, if nec-
essary, perform a key andaxle test. Go to the
«Control Panel», menu, thenclick on the «Devic-
es and Printers», icon, in thewindow that opens,
select the «LS-USBMX 1/2/3Steering Wheel W/Vi-
bration» (Fig. 4), right-click on«Parameters game
control devices».
• In «Game devices» window (see Fig. 5) clickon
the «Properties», button, the «Properties: LS-US-
BMX 1/2/3 Steering Wheel W/Vibration»window
will appear on the PC display (see Fig. 6).Here
you can check the operation of the axes and-
keys, the «Vibration Test» tab allows you to
checkand adjust vibration feedback (see Fig. 7).
X-INPUT MODE
• Connect the racing wheel to your PC. X-in-
putmode is enabled by default. If the steering-
wheel was in D-Input mode, press and holdthe
«MODE» button, the steeringwheel will switch to
X-input mode. During modeswitching, the red
LED will blink three times.
• To check the racing wheel go to the «Control-
panel» menu, then click on the «devices and-
printers» icon, in the window that opens,select
the «LS-USBMX 1/2/3 Steering WheelW/Vibra-
tion» shortcut, right-click on «Gamingdevice set-
tings control» (see Fig. 4). In the«Game devices»
window that opens, click the«Properties» button
(see Fig. 8), a window willopen for checking the
steering wheel and buttons(see Fig. 9).
