    Thank you for choosing me, my name’s Monarch Genie and I’m here to take care of all of your mobility needs! We hope you love the scooter as much as we do. To get your relationship off to the best start we’ve compiled all the information you’ll need in this manual. As well as containing all operation guides we have also listed all safety checks and instructions.

    1. IMPORTANT SAFETY MEASURES WARNING: DO NOT TRY TO OPERATE THE SCOOTER BEFORE READING THROUGH THE SAFETY MEASURES. DO NOT lift the scooter from the handlebars. If you damage the scooter lifting it like this you will void the warranty. The scooter is designed for one person use only.

    3. KEY COMPONENTS Speed Knob: Adjusts the speed of the scooter. Turn clockwise to increase speed and counter clockwise to decrease speed. Battery Indicator: Displays the remaining battery level. Key Hole: Insert the key and turn to power on/off the scooter. Remove the key when not in use.

    4. REPAIRS If your scooter needs a repair then please contact our office who will be able to help you. This product is supplied from Monarch Mobility and parts can take longer as they will order them in on a case by case basis. In order for your warranty to be valid all repairs must go via our Betty and Bertie office.

    9. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS POWER SWITCH Power is on after the key is inserted and turned clockwise. The scooter is now ready to go. Power is off if the key is turned anti-clockwise, and the scooter cannot be operated. Turn the power off with the key once the scooter has finished folding.

UNFOLDING AND FOLDING Folding the Monarch Genie Folding Mobility Scooter is a simple process that can be done in a few easy steps: Unfolding: Push down the red lever located near the front of the scooter.
