Installation Guide
Gigabit VPN Gateway
Note: For simplicity, we take Festa FR205 as an example throughout this Guide.
Connection
1 Connect the modem to the gateway's WAN Port 1 with
an Ethernet cable.
Note: To connect to the internet via another WAN port (port 2 or port 3),
configure your desired port to WAN, then connect the port to the
internet. Refer to FAQ-Q1 for more details.
Configuration
Step 1: Connect to Internet

1. Connect a computer to a LAN port of the gateway with an RJ45 cable
properly. If your computer is configured with a fixed IP, change it to Obtain
an IP address automatically.
2. Open a web browser and type the default management address
192.168.0.1 in the address field of the browser, then press the Enter key.

On: Power on
Off: Power off
USB
On: Connecting to a USB device
Off: No USB device connected
Flashing: Identifying the connected device
Link/Act
On: Connecting to a device but no activity
Off: No device connected to the corresponding port
Flashing: Transmitting or receiving data
Reset: Press and hold the button for 5 seconds, and the SYS LED will flash quickly,
indicating the device is being reset to its factory default settings.
2 Use the charger provided in the package to power on the
gateway.

Desktop Installation:
1. Remove the adhesive backing papers from the
rubber feet.
2. Turnover the device and attach the supplied
rubber feet to the recessed areas on the
bottom ateach corner of the device.
3. Place the device on a flat table.
Note:
This device also supports wall-mounting installation. For
detailed information, please refer to the Wall Mounting
Guide on the product's support page.
3. Create a username and a password for subsequent login attempts and
for security.
4. Use the username and password set above to log in to the webpage.
5. After a successful login, follow the web instructions to configure the
internet settings, and you can configure limited functions by clicking the
menu of the screen.
Note: To easily manage the network and configure more settings, please
proceed to Step 2 to adopt the gateway via the Festa Cloud-Based Controller.
