OPERATION

WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with products to make you
careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a
second is sufficient to inflict severe injury.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields
marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do
so could result in objects being thrown into your
eyes, resulting in possible serious injury.

recommended by the manufacturer of this product.

recommended can result in serious personal injury.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
 Cutting wood, drywall, plastic
 Detailed sanding
 Using accessories identified as compatible with this multi-
tool
Avoid running the tool at low speeds for extended periods
of time. Running at low speeds under constant usage may
cause the tool to become overheated. If this occurs, cool the
tool by running it without a load and at full speed.
WARNING:
Do not attempt to modify this product or create
accessories not recommended for use with this
product. Any such alteration or modification is
misuse and could result in a hazardous condition
leading to possible serious personal injury.
LED LIGHT
See Figure 1, page 10.
The LED light, located above the switch trigger, illuminates
when the switch trigger is depressed. This provides extra
light for increased visibility.
VARIABLE SPEED SWITCH TRIGGER
See Figure 1, page 10.
The variable speed switch trigger delivers higher speed with
increased trigger pressure and lower speed with decreased
trigger pressure.
To turn the tool ON, depress the switch trigger. To turn it
OFF, release the switch trigger and allow the tool to come
to a complete stop.
NOTE: A whistling or ringing noise coming from the switch
during use is a normal part of the switch function.
INSTALLING ACCESSORIES
See Figures 2 - 7, pages 10 - 11.
 Unplug the multi-tool.
 Pull the sliding lever up until the arrow on the sliding lever
is aligned with the arrow on the housing and then, pull it
fully back so that it is resting on the back of the housing
to unlock the accessory clamp.
 Pivot the accessory clamp until it is in line with the clamp
shaft.
 Place the desired accessory on the head so that the
openings on the accessory fit on the raised parts of the
head. Pivot the accessory clamp until it is perpendicular
to the clamp shaft.
