Installation Guide

1. Download the Meross app.
   

2. Plug MSS620 into an outlet near main Wi-Fi.*
   
   *Proximity to main Wi-Fi is required Only during the initial setup process.
   *MSS620 Only supports 2.4GHz networks.
3. Set up the device.
   1. Connect your smartphone or tablet to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
   2. Make sure your smart device is covered by strong Wi-Fi signal.
   3. The smart device supports iOS 13/ iPadOS 13 and later. It is recommended that you upgrade your iOS or iPadOS to the latest version before pairing with the smart device.
   4. Download the Meross app.
   5. Launch the Meross app and log in to your account, or if you are a new user, tap Sign up to create a new account.
   6. Tap the "+" icon to select the type of smart device you want to add, then you can just follow the setup wizard to finish configuration.
   7. Relocation of the smart device does not require additional operations provided that it remains on the same network with strong Wi-Fi signal.

NOTE:

1. If this is not the first time you've added this smart device, you'll have to reset it before going any further.
2. As long as you finish configuration, you'll be able to manage the device in Apple Home app.
3. If the QR code does not work, please try to add the smart device in Apple Home app.

LED and Button Rules

Press to turn both plugs ON or OFF. Press and hold (for 5 seconds) until Status LED flashes red rapidly to initiate factory reset process.

Link Meross to Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa

Set up the device in the Meross app and link to the voice assistants.

1. What devices can I control with the Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug?
   You can control lights, fans, humidifiers, portable heaters, and outdoor electric appliances in accordance with the MSS620's specifications (up to 16A
2. What should I do when my Meross app is unable to control the added Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug?
   You can troubleshoot the following:
   • If you paired MSS620 with Home app, please add MSS620 again by Meross app.
   • Check whether your home Wi-Fi is connected to the internet or not.
   • Make sure the password Of your home Wi-Fi hasn't been changed.
   • Make sure your MSS620 is covered by your home Wi-Fi. Moving it closer to Wi-Fi router or install a Wi-Fi range extender would help.
   • If all else fails, please factory reset your MSS620 and try to add it again.
3. Why my iOS will require me to use Home app when setting it up?
   This is required by Apple iOS. If you want manage your device in Meross app, please launch your Meross app after the setup and tap + on the top right. Meross app will find devices in the same Wi-Fi network.
4. My Home app can't add the device by scanning the QR code.
   You can tap "Don't Have a Code or Can't Scan" and input the code manually.
5. I can't pair my device with HomeKit anyhow.
   Please make sure your iOS is connecting to the 2.4GHz of your home Wi-Fi and you are having iOS13 or above. Restart your iOS will help due to some system cache issue.

Safety Information

• Do not install the plug with wet hands or when standing on wet or damp surfaces.
• Do not plug electrical appliances with a current of more than 16A to this plug.
• Do not soak the plug in water or spray water on it. Otherwise, it will be damaged.
• The outlets should remain capped with the included waterproof covers while not in use. Otherwise, the plug might be damaged by rain or dew.
