5.3.3 Machine blocked ­ call service center
For fault localization, check first which buttons of the coffee/capuccino units
turn to red in combination with this error message.
Possible reasons:
• Defective NTC temperature sensor on thermoblock
• NTC temperature sensor is not fixed
• Thermoblock defective
• Flow meter defective
• Micro switch of safety lid defective
• Motor of extraction unit blocked or defective
Remedy:
• Check the history bit counters in the statistic data file (refer to Service Stick manual).
Every problem that leads to a "machine blocked" message is tracked and
monitored by history bits. For each history bit, two counters are in use: one
which cannot be reset, and a resetable one.
