1. INTRODUCTION
Dear customer, we invite you to read this manual carefully
before proceeding with actual use of the product. In this way
you will be able to make the most of the potential of the
product and protect yourself and other people from possible
damage.
2. COPYRIGHT
The contents of this manual may be modified by the
manufacturer, without notice or further obligations, in order
to include variations and improvements. Reproduction or
translation of any manual is prohibited
without the written consent of the manufacturer.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify, cancel
change the data contained in the data in another way

without notice as the manufacturer is constantly looking
for new solutions that lead to the evolution of the
products. We therefore reserve the right and duty to
make changes to the equipment supplied in terms of
shape, equipment and technology.
3. PRESENTATION AND WARRANTY
We thank you for purchasing one of our products built in
compliance with the most restrictive standards and
according to technical criteria aimed at ensuring practical
and safe use. The BluRay X LED lamp is a highly
technological product that aims to satisfy functional,
aesthetic and even energy saving needs. The appliance
is designed and made entirely in Italy with solid and
refined materials.
The BluRay X is designed to fully satisfy the needs of
your aquarium.
The manufacturer guarantees its products for 24 months,
in compliance with current legislation.
Any warranty interventions will be carried out exclusively
at the Manufacturer's headquarters.
The transport and return of the equipment are the
responsibility of the Customer.
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for the
unreliable operation of the product, and therefore does
not extend the warranty in the event that:
• assembly, modifications and repairs are not carried
out by a GNC assistance service technicianby
personnel authorized by GNC;
• the appliance is not used in accordance with its
intended use and the standards and instructions for
use. To make the guarantee operational, simply keep
the purchase document (invoice or receipt) and
register the product on the website www.gncitalia.it.
4. SAFETY WARNINGS
Read the warnings contained in this Manual carefully as
they provide important information regarding the safe
installation, use and maintenance of the product.
4.1 CLASSIFICATION AND INTENDED USE
This is a Class II lighting fixture, IP protection rating greater
than X4, permanently fixed, suitable for normal use.
4.2 ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
During operation, the ambient temperature must be
between 10 °C and 40 °C, the atmospheric pressure
between 700 and 1060 hPa.
4.3 TECHNICAL SAFETY CONDITIONS
The safe use and proper functioning of the appliance is
guaranteed if:
• the appliance is not subjected to inappropriate stress
and the connection to the chosen mounting support is
well tightened.
• the electrical system of the premises concerned is
created in accordance with the best practices and
complies with the requirements of the regulations in force
in the country of use;
• modifications or maintenance to the appliance are
carried out by personnel authorized by GNC;
• the appliance has been correctly assembled and put into
operation following the installation instructions.
Do not look directly at the lit LEDs and do not place
reflective objects near them to avoid the risk of glare and
possible damage from artificial optical radiation.
Do not touch the metal part of the appliance with bare
hands as it constitutes a hot surface.
Do not lean or place any object on the body of the
appliance, or hang objects from the body of the appliance,
since in this way safe positioning is no longer guaranteed.
During operation, the appliance must not be covered as
this would prevent heat exchange with the environment
and overheating of parts of the appliance could occur. The
appliance must be positioned and managed so as not to
impact it or compromise its stability.
4.4 ENVIRONMENTAL NOTES
Pursuant to art. 13 of the Legislative Decree of 25 July
2005, n. 151 "Implementation of directives 2002/95/EC,
2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC, relating to the reduction of
the use of dangerous substances in electrical and
electronic equipment, as well as the disposal of waste", the
equipment is considered "Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment" (W.A.E.E.). The following symbol
indicates the obligation not to dispose of the
product, at the end of its useful life, as urban
waste, but
to dispose of the product separately from
other waste, through authorized collection centers.
Adequate separate collection for the subsequent sending
of the decommissioned equipment for recycling, treatment
and environmentally compatible disposal contributes to
avoiding possible negative effects on the environment and
health and promotes the reuse and/or recycling of the
materials referred to the equipment is made up.
Illegal disposal of the product by the user entails the
application of the administrative sanctions referred to in
Legislative Decree no. 22/1997 (art. 50 and following
Legislative Decree no. 22/1997).
5. DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE
The appliance is designed to be fixed to the ceiling or with
the appropriate BRIDGE accessory. The assembly has been
designed to reduce installation times.
The electrical connections are all on connectors to better
manage installation and any technical assistance. The
appliance consists of:

6. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
The appliance does not require any particular
maintenance. Use a non-abrasive cloth moistened with
water to clean the transparent resin lens and the cooling
aluminum.
The use of any solvent, alcohol or substance other than
water is prohibited, under penalty of permanent damage
to the product. The use of cloths or other abrasive
materials of any kind on the surfaces of the lamp and its
accessories is prohibited.
