  • Page 2: Before You Begin

    IMPORTANT: Please note that modems do not power themselves off when the SIM door is removed. If you need to swap SIM cards between the two slots, or replace one or both SIMs on a powered device, Cradlepoint strongly recommends that you power off the W1850 before removing the SIM door. Re- attaching a SIM door on a powered device automatically resets the modem, and you must NOT power off your device during a modem reset.
  • Page 3 Each mounting is unique and should be completed by a professional installer. Refer to the Location Considerations (https://cradlepoint.lightning.force.com/lightning/r/Knowledge__kav/ka93t0000004GzYAAU/view#Location) section of this document and have a professional install the endpoint. Depending on the chosen mount location, desk, wall, or ceiling, you might choose to continue following the steps below and install all antennas and cables now, or wait until the endpoint has been mounted to add all attachments and cables.
