Yes, the Vivitar DVR 8K-KIT v2 camera has "Tone settings" with options for High, Middle, Low, or Close, and an "Audio noise" setting that can be turned Open or Close. However, there is no mention of specific microphone gain or advanced audio level adjustments.

When I use the HDMI cord the output is 1080. Is there a way to change this to 720?

I shot some video of my son's lacrosse game, and I saw it in the video library. But when I connect the camcorder to my laptop, nothing comes up. On the camcorder itself, when I plug in the USB cord, I have the option of USB Drive, USB Camera, and USB Charging. I click on USB Drive, and my Windows photo app opens up, but no video appears. Do you have any ideas on how to get the videos off the camcorder and onto my computer?

To transfer videos from the Vivitar DVR 8K-KIT v2 camcorder to your computer:

1. Connect the camcorder’s Type-C USB port to the computer’s USB port using the supplied USB cable.
2. The camcorder will power on automatically and display available options on the screen.
3. Tap the desired option or use the UP/DOWN button and press the Power/OK/Light button to confirm.

Note: If the camcorder is in Playback mode when connecting the USB cable, it will only charge and not function as a PC camera or transfer files.
