Thread the clevis onto the brake rod one turn. Recon¬
nect the clevis to the jackshaft assembly.
There
should be a minimum amount of clearance (no drag)
between the brake pads and the rotor. If not, repeat
adjustment as necessary. (See Figure 26.)

FRONT WHEEL ADJUSTMENTS
To adjust the toe-in remove one ball joint, loosen the
lock nut "C" at the ball joint and turn the tie rod ball
joint in or out as required.

Repeat the adjustment on the brake rod assembly on
the other side of the tractor.
Recheck brake adjustment per Brake adjustment
check and ensure proper brake operation before
operating the tractor.
WHEEL ALIGNMENT
The front wheels should toe-in approximately 1/8
inch.
Measure the distances A and B on the front wheels.
(See Figure 27.)
■^NOTE
Dimension B should be approximately 1/8
inch less than dimension A.
TURNING RADIUS
The front wheels should have an equal angle for left
and right turns. If adjustment is necessary, remove
ball joint and loosen lock nut "D", turn the drag link ball
joint clockwise or counterclockwise as required. (See
Figure 28.)
A CAUTION
Be sure all parts are reassembled tight with
cotter pins in place and spread.
