Convection Fan Motor Removal

1. Remove the range from its installation (see
Range Removal procedure).
2. Remove 4 screws that secure the convection
fan guard to the rear wall of the oven and
remove the guard (see Convection Element
and Fan Guard Removal procedure).

3. Remove one 1/2-in. nut from the convection fan
blade by holding the blade securely and
turning the nut clockwise.
4. Remove the fan blade and washer from the
fan motor shaft.
5. Remove the 6 screws that secure the service
cover to the rear of the range and remove the
cover.
6. Remove the wiring harness connectors from
the motor terminals.
7. Remove the 3 mounting screws and the
motor.

Control Panel Removal

Models JDP46, JSP46, JSP56
1. Remove the 4 knobs and the retainer nuts
under the knobs.
2. Remove the panel faceplate.
3. Remove the 4 screws from the control panel.
Note: The control panel can now be tilted down
into service position allowing access to the
electrical components.
