Changing the Source
(KEH-P6000RDS)
When an optional multi-play CD player is
connected to your unit, the source changes
in the order listed below each time you
press button [3]: Tuner — Multi-play CD
player — OFF.
« You cannot change the source while a
cassette is being played. To change the
source, press button [4] to eject the cas-
sette, then press the source button.
If another audio equipment is connected to
the IP-BUS terminal with an optional con-
version cord, set the AUX to ON by doing
as follows.
Hold down button @ in [11] and set the ig-
nition switch from OFF to ON.
In this case, the source changes as follows:
Tuner — (Multi-play CD player) — AUX —
OFF
Pre-Fader Adjustment
Note:
Mode Selection
Each press of button [13] changes the mode
as follows:
Volume adjustment (VOL) — Balance ad-
justment (FAD/BAL) — Pre-fader (P-FAD) —
Tone adjustment (BAS/MID/TRE) —
Loudness select (LOUD)
* When you're adjusting fader, balance,
pre-fader, bass, middle, treble settings,
the indicator will stop at the center
setting.
* Balance adjustment, pre-fader, tone ad-
justment, and or loudness select mode
will be canceled after about 8 seconds.
Volume Adjustment
Pressing the (+) side of button [1] increases
the volume, while the (-) side decreases it.
(Display shows "VOL 00" ~ "VOL 30".)
* When driving your vehicle, be sure to
keep the volume of the unit set low
enough to allow you to hear sounds com-
ing from outside.
Balance Adjustment
Press button [13] to select balance adjust-
ment mode. ("FAD" appears on the dis-
play.) Adjust the fader using the (+) or (-)
side of button [1]. To adjust the balance,
press either the (<4) or (>) side of button [1]
to turn on "BAL" and use the (4) or (>)
side of the button.

Tone Adjustment
Bass Adjustment
Select the Bass mode.
Fader
The fader of this unit controls the balance
between speakers @ and @ shown in
Figure 15 on page 8. When you press the
(+) side of button [1] the output from speak-
er @ increases and the output from speaker
@ decreases. When you press the (-) side
of button [1], the output from speaker @
increases and the output from spaeker ©
decreases.

* Please set "FAD 0" when using 2 peaker
system.

This unit has a fader that controls the bal-
ance between speakers @ and @, shown
in Figure 15 on page 8, using button [1],
and a pre-fader that controls the balance

Pressing the (<4) side of button [1] shifts the
balance to the left speaker, while the (>)
side shifts it to the right speaker.
