6.1.1.4. Wi-Fi Hotspot
This system provides "Wi-Fi Hotspot".
"Wi-Fi hotspot":
Share network through Wi-Fi. When it is enabled, the Wi-
Fi turns off connection and becomes a hotspot AP (access
point). Other Wi-Fi client devices can join and share network.
User can set up detailed Wi-Fi hotspot information when
enabling "Wi-Fi hotspot".
The network name is the SSID name and must follow
IEEE802.11 specification, it is suggested to use 0-32 octets
with UTF8 encoding. The system provides NONE and WPA2
PSK security protocol to provide hotspot network. It is
suggested to use WPA2 PSK as it is more secure than NONE.
The password for other client to connect is randomly
generated, user can set a new password for the hotspot.
Select the AP Band, which can be either 2.4 GHz band or 5.0
GHz band.
Disable Tethering
By default, devices can use mobile data to access network
via a hotspot. If enabling the option, the system will block
devices from network access by hotspot.

Show the devices connected via Bluetooth.
6.1.3. Signage Display
Settings -> Signage Display, to setup most features of signage
display.

6.1.3.1. General Settings
Settings -> Signage Display -> General Settings
Set up Signage Display name, User logo and Screenshot.
Signage Display Name
Settings -> Signage Display -> General Settings -> Signage
Display Name
Set up the Signage Display name, the default name is the
Ethernet MAC address with a prefix "PD_". For example,
"PD_000b12223398". The maximum length of the name is 36
characters in UTF8 format. Click to rename it.
Boot Logo
Settings -> Signage Display -> General Settings -> Boot Logo
User can set up device boot up logo (boot animation) when
OSD Menu -> Configuration 2 -> Logo is set to "User" mode.
If the Logo is not set to "User" mode, the user will not be able
to select a custom boot animation.
When set to "User" mode, the "Choose Boot Animation"
becomes available.
When Logo is set to User mode, the system will disable the
default Philips logo and replace it with the user selected
boot animation file. If user does not set a boot animation
file for User mode, the default Philips boot animation will be
displayed during boot time.
Click "Choose Boot Animation" to pop up a dialog for
the user to select a boot animation file. The system will
automatically scan the files under the USB storage.
The boot animation file name must be set to "bootanimation.
zip", any other name is invalid.
All available boot animation files can be found in the
following folder:
1. File under /data/local/bootanimation/:
The boot animation file that was copied from USB.
2. File under {USB_STORAGE_VOLUME_NAME}/:
The boot animation file saved on the USB storage.

Clear "bootanimation.zip under /data/local/
