1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Disconnect the heater from the gas supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.

Keep the heater clean and in good working order.

Check that the heater is in sound condition and not damaged. Take immediate action to repair or replace damaged parts.

Use recommended parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

Store gas cylinders in accordance with regulations applicable to such appliances and DO NOT store below ground level.

Follow instructions to ensure that there are no leaks in the gas connections. DO NOT use a naked flame to check for gas leaks.

Use the supplied pressure regulator only. Protect regulator from rain and other contamination and DO NOT allow vent hole in regulator

cover to become obstructed.
For outdoor use only. The heater must have adequate continuous ventilation.

Should the heater not work correctly, immediately turn off the heater and close the gas valve. Check the heater according to instruction

manual. If you are unable to resolve the problem contact your local service agent. DO NOT attempt to dismantle or make any adjustments
beyond those mentioned in these instructions. To do so may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
DO NOT use the heater if damaged. Take immediate action to repair or replace damaged parts. Use authorised service agent only.

DO NOT use heater in closed rooms, living areas, basements or below ground level or in any area which is without adequate ventilation.

DO NOT use heater when there is a risk of strong winds blowing it over.

DO NOT allow untrained persons to ignite the heater.

DO NOT use a naked flame to try and ignite the heater.

DO NOT use the heater near flammable material, liquids, solids, or gases or in areas where spray painting is carried out.

DO NOT place any flammable material within 2mtr of the heater.
8
DO NOT place any other object less than 1mtr from the heater.

DO NOT attempt to move the heater when it is lit, wait until it has been switched off and allowed to cool down.

DO NOT touch any part of the operating heater above the control switch, as serious burns could result. Allow one hour cooling after switch

off to ensure safety.
DO NOT expose the cylinder to the sun, or any other heat source.

Ensure the cylinder valve is closed when the heater is switched off.

When not in use remove the cylinder and store the cylinder and heater in a safe, dry area, out of reach of children.

If the heater is used for prolonged periods at maximum power, ice may form on the propane cylinder. If so, DO NOT use another heater to de-ice
the cylinder. Allow the ice to melt naturally.
2.
INTRODUCTION & SPECIFICATION
The LP352 and LP352S heaters are for use out of doors or in large well ventilated indoor spaces. The
heater uses propane gas to generate infrared heat from the upper heat unit which is reflected down and
out by a conical plate inside the head shield. The radiant heat produces a warm area covering
approximately 25mtr
depending on location and conditions.

Note: The combustion chamber (8) may be slightly blackened. This is a result of factory tests
and is not a fault. Remove from packing and check parts against the list below. If any parts are missing
or damaged contact your supplier immediately.

  • Page 3 4. HEATER LOCATION Your Sealey heater will generate radiated heat to a maximum area of approximately 25mtr (depending on conditions). It is therefore very important to locate your heater correctly in order to achieve maximum benefit whilst avoiding any potential hazards.
