Removing Cabinet Front Door Assembly
Remove the front door assembly as follows (see Figure 2-8 ann
Table 2-1):
1.
Swing open cabinet's front door (Table
2-1,
item 15).
2.
Remove ground cable from door by pulling quick-disconnect
fastener.
3.
Grasp front door with one hand and remove hinged pin
(item
19)
from lower front door hinge (item 14).
4.
Remove front door from cabinet.
5.
Remove ground cable quick-disconnect hardware from front
door ground lug and discard door.
Retain quick-
disconnect hardware for later installation on ground stud
of lower front panel, as described in subsection 2.2.2.6,
step 2.
6.
Remove upper front door hinge and hardware (items 11, 8,
and 9) from cabinet frame.
This hinge and hardware may
be discarded after installation.
7.
Remove lower front door hinge and hardware (items 14 and
13)
from cabinet frame.
This hinge and hardware may be
discarded after installation.
8.
Remove latch keeper and hardware (items 20, 21, 22, and
23) from upper right-hand side of cabinet frame.
This
latch keeper and hardware may be discarded after
installation.
