I cannot get the 4 cup processor attachment open on brand new Cuisinart Smart stick hand blender. I can see the blade but not the slicing/shredding disc. would that be inside the processor attachment? Any suggestions?

To open the 4-cup food processor attachment on the Cuisinart Smart Stick HB-400PC and access the slicing/shredding disc, follow these steps:

1. Remove the food processor lid by turning it counterclockwise to unlock it.
2. Lift the lid off the work bowl.
3. If the slicing/shredding disc is in place, lift it off the stem.
4. If needed, remove the stem by lifting it from the center of the work bowl.

This will give you access to the slicing/shredding disc inside the processor attachment.
