Cleaning and Care
A filter is incorporated in the screw
connection of the valve on the water
inlet hose. The filter must be cleaned
when
dirty,
otherwise
insufficient
water flows into the wash cabinet.
_ Warning.
The plastic housing of the water
connection hose contains an elec-
- trical component.
It must
not be submerged
in
water.
To clean the filter
@® Switch off the dishwasher.
@ Turn off the stopcock/faucet and
unscrew
the inlet hose. Wrap a
cloth around the outlet to soak up
excess water.
@ Carefully remove the rubber seal.
@ Withdraw the filter, using pointed
pliers and clean.
@® Replace filter and seal. Make sure
they are sitting correctly.

@ Turn
on
the = stopcock/faucet
gradually to test for leaks. If there
is a leak screw the connections on
more tightly.
Fitting an in-line water filter
lf the mains water contains a large
number of insoluble substances, we
recommend fitting a large area filter in
the connection
between
the stop-
cock/faucet and the water inlet hose.
These filters can be obtained from the
Miele Spare Parts Department (Part
no. 75577).
