Amplification
The Digital ToP-ART design concept
combines the latest and best technologies,
parts and circuit designs to maximize sound
quality. High Current Amplification uses
superior components to achieve high current
power with low impedance from input
(power supply circuit) to output (speaker
terminals).
Direct Stereo Mode
Direct Stereo causes the input stereo signal
to bypass the DSP circuitry so the pure signal
is output without any processing or data loss
whatsoever.
Custom Installation Compatibility
Yamaha has made it easy to use this receiver in
multi-room custom installations. Zone 2 Out
allows the audio signal to be output in a second
room, and you can even enjoy audio in three

Audio Delay for Adjusting Lip-Sync
Yamaha's powerful YSS-948 LSI has the
necessary speed and precision to achieve
accurate synchronization of images and
sounds, which is called lip-sync. By using the
Audio Delay mode, lip-sync parameters can
be adjusted when necessary.
Aluminum Front Panel
The aluminum front panel effectively shields
sensitive low-level circuitry from external
