    2) Connect the system to a standard RC receiver using S.BUS. Use channels 1 and 2 to control the main functions. System can also be controlled via USB keyboard, MAVLink protocol or Workswell Command Control Protocol. 3) Connect the power supply using power supply cable (included).

    7. SYSTEM ASSEMBLY 7.2 HDMI Micro Video Output The Workswell WIRIS system is equipped with a standard HDMI micro video output. It can be connected to any wireless video link or a display with HDMI input that supports WIRIS Enterprise resolution.

    Warning: Do NOT connect WIRIS Enterprise to any other powered device (such as PC) through either the full size USB‐A port or the USB‐C on the rear of WIRIS Enterprise ‐ only the side Micro USB‐B port can be used for mass storage access. As the rear USB port is powered, connection to another powered USB port can lead to permanent damage to either device.

    Warning: The WIRIS Enterprise camera is focused to infinity during manufacturing and in most cases should never need adjustments. Considering the delicate nature of the optics it is better to not attempt removal of protective glass or adjustment of the focus lens unless absolutely necessary.

    Warning: The +5V wire on the S.BUS input is intended for powering otherwise unpowered transceivers and converters from the WIRIS Enterprise. If your transceiver or converter is powered otherwise, do NOT connect the +5V wires and leave them unconnected instead, only connecting the GND and S.BUS pins. If the +5V wires are connected, damage of either device might occur.

The camera communicates with the Herelink Air Unit over the S.BUS connection and controlled from using the Herelink Ground Unit.

    Warning: The +5V wire on the GPS input is intended for powering otherwise unpowered GPS modules from WIRIS Enterprise. If your GPS source is powered otherwise, do NOT connect the +5V wires and leave them unconnected instead, only connecting the GND, TXD and RXD pins. If the +5V wires are connected, damage of either device might occur.

    Autopilots or any device supporting MAVLink messages can be connected to the WIRIS Enterprise unified interface cable with a 4 pin connector. As for the physical layer, the Workswell WIRIS system is designed for UART with operating voltage of 5 V, although it is tolerant to 3.3 V.

    9. UART INTERFACE ‐ GPS AND MAVLINK 9.3 Command control protocol The UART interface can also be used for the Workswell Command Control Protocol (CCP). For more information about CCP please see the CCP dopcumentation on my.workswell.eu. Warning: Always connect the CCP device first and then turn on the camera. Reversing the order may lead to undefined behaviour of the device.

    11. DIGITAL OUTPUT Digital Output WORKSWELL WIRIS Enterprise has digital output feature. Figure 11.1 – Connector pinout with Digital Output configuration.     A stable power supply is essential for correct functioning of the device. 20.2 Reset button On side of the WIRIS Enterprise device, a reset button is present. This button has two functions. If the reset button is held down during device startup, the device should go directly into Safe Mode as described in the next section.
