3.1 Aufnahmerohr aus dem
Kuppler herausschrauben
und durch die Abgleich-
hiilse ersetzen.
3.2 Den Gewindestift am Stecker-
einsatz entfernen und Schal-
tung mit Kapsel nach hinten
herau sziehen.
3.3 Galvanometer zwischen den
Stiften A und B (siehe Schalt-
bild) anlsdten und Schaltung
so in den Kuppler einsetzen,
dafB& der erste Spulenkern
durch das Loch in der Ab-
gleichhiilse zuganglich ist.
3.4 Das Instrument soll O + 50 mV
(0+5nA wenn das Instrument im
Kapselgerat verwendet wird)
anzeigen. Ist dies nicht der
Fall, ist mit einem isolierten
Abgleichschraubenzieher der
erste Spulenkern (L 2) nach-
zustellen. Beim Herein- oder
Herausschrauben des Kernes
bewegt sich der Zeiger des
Instrumentes iiber die ganze
Skala.

headphone to the output of the
VTVM. Noise disturbance can
then be easier detected.
Noise can: originate from a
faulty: capsule or circuitry,
see paragraph 4 capsule tests
or paragraph 5 circuit tests.
3. Microphone alignment
If microphone alignment is
necessary this should be carried
out as follows.
3.1 Screw front support tube out
of coupler and replace it
with the alignment sleeve.
3.2 Remove the threaded pin near
the connector and carefully
pull circuit and capsule out
of the housing.
3.3 Connect galvanometer between
the pins A and B (see circuit
diagram) and insert the cir-
cuit in the coupler such that
the core of the first coil is
adjustable through the hole
in the alignment sleeve.
3.4 The galvanometer should indi-
cate 0 + 50 mV (0 + 5,A when
the instrument in the capsule
test unit is being used). If
this is not the case trim the
first coil (L2) using an
insulated tuning aid. Move-
ment of the core should cause
the needle to move over the
whole scale.
