You may charge the battery to any level.

Charging a partially charged battery will
not damage it. You can also partially
charge the battery if you wish to use the
Lovens Explorer before the battery is
fully charged.
The battery has five battery level LEDs
T. Each continuously illuminated LED
represents 20% battery capacity. The
adjacent flashing LED indicates that the
battery is still being charged.
You can charge the battery either detached
from or attached to the Lovens Explorer:

if you charge the battery in the Lovens
Explorer. In this case, you can see the
battery level on the on-board computer.
1. Insert the appliance plug of the power
cable into the charger c.

2. Insert the power plug of the power cable
into a working power socket.
3. Open the battery holder cap Q (only
when charging in the Lovens Explorer).
4. Insert the charging plug of the charger
c into the battery e (Figure 17A) or
battery holder (Figure 17B).

does not operate while the battery is
being charged in the battery holder.
Once the battery is fully charged, all battery
level LEDs T and the on-board computer
3 will turn off.
5. Disconnect the charger c from the
battery e.
6. Disconnect the charger c from the
power supply.
7. Close the cap of the battery holder
Q (only when charging in the Lovens
Explorer).
