In the system test substate it is possible to test the system
completely. The system test can only be carried out with the
equipment type UA 8251/00. For a successful course of the test, the
equipment must be set on Low Frequency (LF).

inserting the loop-back
connector into the line
connector.

Note 1: The loop-back connector connects pin 1 of the line connector
with pin 3 and pin 2 with pin 4. If this loop-back connector
is not available, the system loop can also be achieved by
connecting pin "a" of the telephone connector with pin "EB"
and pin "b" with pin "GND".
