Measurement of 1st to 64th harmonics for voltage and current

Harmonics are mainly caused by equipment with a non-linear characteristic, such as
fluorescent lamps, transformers and frequency converters. They are integer multiples of a
fundamental.
The harmonics place a thermal load on the network. As well as causing functional
impairments, they can shorten the service life of the devices or cause irreparable device
damage.
Expensive repairs, production stoppages or functional failures can be avoided by measuring
and eliminating the harmonics.
The PAC4220 measures integer voltage and current harmonics and shows the results on the
display. It is also possible to read out the data using Modbus command 0xFC20 "Read File
Record 0x14".

The device gives you the option of displaying only the odd (3rd to 63rd) or all (1st to 64th) the
harmonics on the display.
