Attaching the tuner
unit (See Fig. EY)
1 Open the LCD panel of the VCR.
Remove the terminal cover.
3 Attach the TV tuner unit.
4 Connect the VCR to the power
source.
Removing the tuner unit
"1 While sliding RELEASE on the bottom
in the direction of the arrow, remove
the tuner unit.
2 Replace the terminal cover.

Presetting channels (see

1 Set INPUT SELECT to TUNER.
2 Set POWER of the VCR to ON.
The power lamp (green) on the tuner
unit lights up.
Extend the telescopic antenna fully
(O@®).
If you have connected an external
antenna, skip this step.
Recording TV
programs (See Fig.[@)
1 Set INPUT SELECT to TUNER.
2 Set the POWER switch on the
VCR to ON.
The power lamp on the tuner unit
lights up.
3 Press CHANNEL +/- to select the
channel.
4 Insert a cassette and press REC on the
VCR.
The VCR starts recording.

Scanning channels (see

When you cannot find the channel number of
the TV program you want to watch, for
example, you can search for the channel as
follows.
1 Press SEEK so that "SEEK" appears.
2 Press CHANNEL +/- to select a
channel.
Each time you press CHANNEL +/-,
the unit starts to search fora
receivable channel. When the unit
finds a receivable channel, it stops
searching automatically.
To cancel the seek mode
Press SEEK to turn off "SEEK".
Note
Once you set the POWER switch on the VCR to
OFF, the seek mode will be canceled automatically.
