• DIST. UNIT (Distance unit)
Lets you select tile unit of measure
for setting
distances.
• FEET
The distance
is displayed
in feet.
• METER
The distance
is displayed
in meters.
• FRT CROSS (Front speaker
crossover frequency)
Lets you set tile bass crossover
frequency
of
the front speakers
that have been set to
"SMALL"
in the SPEAKER
menu.
• CNT CROSS (Center speaker
crossover frequency)
Lets you set tile bass crossover
frequency
of
the center speaker
that have been set to
"SMALL"
in the SPEAKER
menu.
• SUR CROSS (Surround speaker
crossover frequency)
Lets you set tile bass crossover
frequency
of
the surround
speakers
that have been set to
"SMALL"
in the SPEAKER
menu.
Settings for the surround
sound
(SURROUND menu)
You can use the SURROUND
menu to select
the sound field you want for your listening
pleasure.
Select "SURROUND"
in the amplifier
menus.

SUR menu parameters
• S.F. SELECT (Sound field
selection)
Lets you select the sound field you want. For
details,
see "Enjoying
Surround
Sound" (page
55).
Note
The receiver lets you apply the last selected sound
field to an input whenever it is selected (Sound Field
Link). For example, if you select "HALL" lk)r the
DVD input, then change to a different input and then
return to DVD. "HALL" will automatically be
applied again.
• E.SUR MODE (Enhanced
surround mode)
Lets you select the surround
mode you want.

• EFFECT
(Effect
level)
Lets you adjust the "presence" of the surround
effect t_r the Cinema Studio EX A/B/C sound
fields.
