Chapter 2 Preparations
7. Depending on the components to be installed or removed, follow the procedure in order.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.7 Internal Flash Memory) to (1.15 Use of Internal Hard Disk Drives in the RAID
System).
8. Attach the top cover.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.16 Installing Top Cover).
9. Mount the server onto the rack.
Refer to Chapter 2 (2.1.2 Installing the server to the rack or removing it from the rack).
10. Install Hard Disk Drives
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.17 2.5-inch Hard Disk Drive) and Chapter 2 (1.18 3.5-inch Hard Disk Drive).
11. Install Power Supply Unit
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.19 Power Supply Unit).
12. Attach the front bezel.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.5 Removing Front Bezel).
This is the end of the installation or removal procedures for internal optional devices.
Continue the setup with reference to Chapter 2 (2.2 Connection).
