1-5. Interface to System
The HP 30020A INP has one PCA board that is backplane
compatible
with
the
HP 3000 Series 30 and Series 33 Computer Systems.
The
INP PCA is ins taIled in the "de vice"
section
of
the
I/O
card
cage.
The
INP communicates with the General I/O Channel (GIC)
via connector J 3, and with the modern via connector s
Jl
and
J2.
(See figure 1-2.) The INP receives power from the system via con-
nectors P2 and P4.
Connector PI is used for
test
signals,
and
connector P3 is not currently used.
