4 Switch off and clean the appliance after each
use (see 'Cleaning').
Shaving with the back shaving
attachment
Note: The back shaving attachment is suitable for
both wet and dry use.

Press and hold the release button (1) and open
the back shaving attachment (Fig. 17) (2) in the
preferred setting.
2 Place the bottom of the product in the lower
part of the back shaving attachment. Then
press the top against the top part of the holder
until it locks into place with a click (Fig. 18).
3 Press the on/off button to turn on the product.
4 Shave your back by moving the back shaving
attachment up and down by its handle (Fig. 19).
Note: For your ease of use, the back shaving
attachment can be folded to different angles
(Fig. 20). Use a smaller angle to shave your
lower back (Fig. 21).
5 To remove the product from the back shaving
attachment, pull the top of the product towards
you until it unlocks from the holder (Fig. 22).
6 To close the back shaving attachment, press
and hold the release button (1) and push the
handle against the holder (2) (Fig. 23).
Cleaning
Clean the appliance after every use.
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents
or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone to
clean the appliance.
Never dry trimmer or shaving foil head with a
towel, brush or tissue, as this may cause damage.

2 Remove any trimming comb from the appliance
(Fig. 11).
3 Remove the shaving unit by pulling it off the
appliance (Fig. 25).
- Hold the shaving foil head by the plastic
housing only.
4 Rinse the shaving foil head with warm running
tap water (Fig. 26).
5 Allow the shaving unit to air dry completely.
- Never dry trimmer or shaving foil head with a
towel, brush or tissue, as this may cause
damage.
6 Rinse the hair chamber under warm running tap
water to remove any residues (Fig. 27).
7 Reattach the shaving unit by snapping it back
onto the appliance (Fig. 28). ('click')

Replacement
Replacing the shaving foil head
For maximum shaving performance, we advise you
to replace the shaving unit every year (TT2000). If
the shaving unit is worn or damaged, do not use
the appliance and replace the shaving unit
immediately. Always replace the shaving unit with
original Philips TT2000 shaving unit. Accessories
(Fig. 24).

Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from
the wall socket (Fig. 9).
2 Pull the shaving unit out of the appliance (Fig.
25).
Note: The foil is delicate. Handle the shaving
unit with care.
3 Snap the new shaving unit into the appliance
('Click') (Fig. 28).
4 Check if the shaving unit is firmly attached
before you use the appliance.

Guarantee restrictions
- Philips Consumer Lifestyle warrants its products
for a period of two years after the date of
purchase. If any defect due to faulty materials
and workmanship occurs within this two-year
warranty period, Philips Consumer Lifestyle will
repair or replace the product at its expense.
- Philips Consumer Lifestyle will only pay for
repair or replacement if convincing proof is
provided, for instance by means of a receipt,
that the day on which service is claimed is
within the guarantee period. Parts that are
subject to wear (such as cutting units and
shaving heads) are not covered by the terms of
the international guarantee.
- The guarantee is not valid if a defect is due to
damage caused by incorrect use, poor
maintenance (e.g. parts blocked by scale) or if
alterations or repairs have been carried out by
persons not authorized by Philips Consumer
Lifestyle.
